As told by Micky

It's been 7 days since we've arrived in Magdeburg, Germany and became engulfed in the German culture. To me, there have been three things that have damanded my attention:

1) The hectic biking culture,
2) The domination of the fashion industry's choice colors (BLACK & WHITE),
3) The "interesting" choices of hair style, color, shape, and anything else that can be done to ones head.

Now, I'll go thought and address my opinions in order. On either our first or second day here in Magdeburg we headed over to the bike shop to "engage the cultural experience" also known as "bike renting." Since coming here, I believe that I have doubled the muscle strength in my legs. Although the city of Magdeburg is rather flat, don't let it fool ya. Maybe it's moreso the distances than the terrain, but it's quite the travel plan. It only takes a short 15min, if not rushing, bike ride to get to the Uni from the hoste. this isn't that bad, but oh does it get harder. Not having a car, i've become dependent on my new 2 wheeled best friend, my bike, making it my number 1 means of travel, even if it's from city to city :D.

Moving on, I'll just add the comment that although I try not to go out w/o looking "presentable." I don't really pay attention to what the fashion world says, but OMG if I see another window display in ONLY Black and White, maybe a lil Red or something for "flair," I'm going to scream. Ok, thas all on that one.

For the grand daddy of them all...HAIR. Now, I'm a small town boy and have never really lived in a big city for more than a week or so. Yeah, I will definately say that Germany has topped anything that I have ever seen times 10. To put it simply, I think the hair styles here are very unique and rival only themselves in their majesty. For instance, I've seen some that defy gravity, that loop/curl/frizz in ways unlike any other. Oh yeah, and I can't forget the color. I'll just end saying this...WOW!!

You are such a trip!
I'm sorry that things aren't so colorful there, but aye... what can ya do? I guess the hair makes up for that. ;-)
Man, it sounds like you are enjoying that biking experience, now you know what I felt like in Tucson! :D
Anyway, you know that you are loving every second of it!
So, are there any creepy homeless folk roaming around?
I hope so, maybe you can get some weird back stories....
Anyway, love and miss ya like no tomorrow!
