Cimbing the towers in Cologne

On June 23 we went on an excursion to Cologne, Germany to see the towers of Cologne. The size and beauty of this building cannot be fully captured by pictures or video. Micky, Sarah and MaryAnn decided to brave the task of climbing to the top of the tallest tower. Despite the steep climb, narrow stairs, crowds of people, rain and many false hopes we succeeded in our mission. Here is a short clip of our adventure to the top.

I felt like I was up in that tower with you!
I forgot to warn you all that Sarah has a thing for climbing winding, dangerous staircases. When she was little she made us climb all the way up the inside of the Statue of Liberty (when you could still go up to the top), and she has never met the inside of a lighthouse that she didn't like.
