On Friday June 15, we traveled overnight to Austria, changing trains at about 4:30 a.m. in Innsbruck. We arrived at 7:30 or so in Dornbirn, in the westernmost province of Austria, Vorarlberg. It's beautiful here and they like to hike, so we did that the first day. It was a tough hike but absolutely worth it.

What a spectacular hike! Parts of the gorge remind me of Watkins Glen, NY--also a beautiful place. We were so glad to see this entry after days without. We are now officially spoiled by having this blog.
