MaryAnn and Sarah at Marienstift

On Tuesday, June 12, Sarah and MaryAnn went to observe Claudia Weschke at Marienstift Hospital as she worked with pain and chemotherapy patients.

MT has its own sign at the hospital.

The older part of the hospital is one hundred years old.

Claudia had some beautiful instruments which Sarah and MaryAnn had not seen before, including a "therapy cello..."

... and a tambura. We played improvisations by ourselves and and also for two chemo patients.

The hospital cafeteria food was... hospital food, but the company was great! Claudia is on the left.

We were at the hospital from 8:30-2:00. We decided to reward ourselves for a wonderful day with a "little" treat. :)

Can't wait for you to visit the hospital (Krankenhaus) where Dr. K used to work in Duesseldorf. Beautiful campus...unless it's changed since 1992. ;-)
