Singing in Dornbirn

In all of Austria, the Catholic population is very large and for the most part there are only five to ten people at a protestant service. On Sunday evening, we had the opportunity to sing a song as a surprise for a protestant minister in the Dornbirn area. She is retiring from her protestant church and one of the women of the church wanted to show the minister her appreciation for all she has done. Because of the surprise and the circumstances, we sang in a multi-purpose room of a catholic church in the area.
It was a wonderful gift to give to the minister and to Jette (Henrietta). It was a big job for our small group but I think we did a good job and were able to help give an important gift.
After the surprise, the priest of the church we sang at told us that the sanctuary was being restored and he wanted to show it to us. The church was originally built in 1793 and we got to go up the bell tower and the attic as well as seeing the sanctuary.
