Project Introduction

In June 2007, a group of music therapy students (and one professor) from the US will travel to Germany (and a slice of Austria too) to learn about music therapy there. We come from two different states, three different universities, and two different countries. So even though we're a small group, we're pretty diverse.

I am the professor who is traveling with the group, and I have set up this program because I want students to experience some of the ways music therapy is taught and practiced in other parts of the world. I lived and worked in Germany after my music therapy internship, and I am excited to be able to share some of what I learned there with these students, and to continue learning more about the ongoing changes in the field.

The students and I will be posting images and videos to this blog from our trip, and writing posts about our travels, our learning, and the fun stuff as well!
